Everything You Need to Know About Our Sheds and Steel Buildings
Will this building fit where I want it to go
9 times out of 10, the answer is “YES”! We use a machine called the Mule to place your shed exactly where you want it, even in tight spaces. Still unsure? Send us a picture of the location, and we’ll confirm. We also offer on-site building when delivery isn’t possible.
Do I need to level the yard?
No major leveling is required unless your yard has a significant slope. We’ll handle the leveling with treated wood blocks as part of our free setup and delivery. Want to make it even easier? Prepare a pad in advance!
Do you put my portable building on blocks during delivery?
The treated skids on our sheds don’t require blocks, but if you prefer, just have blocks available, and we’ll place them during installation
Do I need to get permits since it’s a portable building?
Permits are the responsibility of the customer. Regulations vary by location, so we recommend checking with your local authorities. We’re happy to answer any questions about our buildings and help where we can.
Can you build sheds on-site?
While we don’t build on-site, we can often deliver sheds even in tight spaces by temporarily removing a portion of the fence. Check our delivery page for clearance requirements.
What’s the wind rating of your sheds?
All of our sheds are engineered to meet or exceed Florida’s local wind load codes—built to last through tough conditions.
What’s the material on the sides of the sheds?
Our sheds use a durable, water-resistant press board that’s far superior to traditional OSB. It’s termite, bacteria, and fungus resistant, with a 5-year full replacement warranty and a 50-year pro-rated warranty.
Do I need to repaint the shed every few years?
No! Our Urethane and paint coatings are designed to last. Haley’s Urethane carries a 10-year warranty, and Sherwin Williams paint has a 25-year warranty—no fading or peeling.
What is your interest rate for Rent-to-Own?
Our Rent-to-Own program doesn’t charge interest—it’s based on rental fees. The exact split between fees and principal depends on the term you choose. Check out our Rent-to-Own page for full details.
Do I own the building after payments are complete?
Yes! Once your final payment is made, the building is yours. You can also pay off the balance early without penalty.
Do you have sheds for sale in Pace, FL?

Do I buy the display model?
Yes, if you like what you see, the display model can be yours. But if you want to customize, we’re happy to build a shed that matches your specific needs.
What warranties come with your portable buildings?
Our Stor-Mor buildings come with a 5-year warranty. The materials we use also carry their own warranties:
- LP SmartSiding: 5-year full replacement, 50-year pro-rated warranty
- LP Pro-Struct Flooring: 1-year full replacement, 10-year pro-rated warranty
- Roof Metal: 40-year warranty
- Haley Urethane: 10-year warranty

Pre-built sheds and buildings can typically be delivered in 5-7 business days. Custom orders may take a little longer, but we’ll work with you to get it done as quickly as possible.
